Kronos Fitness Program
4-week fitness program
Volumes of research tell us that the total amount of physical activity we engage in – regardless of age – is the best predictor of a longer and healthier life.
Studies show that after 45 years of age longevity can be significantly affected by fitness level:
- Increasing fitness from ‘low’ to ‘moderate’ can add more than five years to a person's life
- Changing from ‘low’ to ‘high’ fitness can add as much as nine years or more to a person’s life
In contrast, men and women who have low fitness levels are two times more likely to die from heart disease than people who are more physically fit.
